Sleeping Arrangements
Sleeps12-14. Upper Level - Bedroom 1: Queen sleigh bed (sleeps 2); 2-story arched and beamed ceiling, paneled in clear pine, with ceiling fan; large picture window overlooking the slopes; 19" remote control TV; 2 rustic bentwood lounge chairs with matching side tables; built-in dresser; walk-in closet. Study: Semi-private (no door) room with a trundle bed that converts to a king bed or 2 twins (sleeps 2). Both rooms share an adjacent full bath with twin sinks.
Main Level - Bedroom 2: Queen bed (sleeps 2); private full bath; patio door opening onto adjacent deck; ski area views; Shaker-style decor. Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds (sleeps 2); large picture window; rustic wicker decor; adjoining bath with shower.
Lower Level - Bedroom 4: 2 pair handcrafted log bunks (sleeps 4). Rec Room: Queen sofa sleeper (sleeps 2). Bunk room and rec room share an adjacent bath with oversize steam shower.
Living Room
The living room is dominated by a massive river rock fireplace, rising up 2 stories to a beamed ceiling paneled with clear pine. Below, the recessed floor is carpeted in relaxing forest green. Extensive window area on 3 sides contribute to a cheerful, open ambience and provide views of the adjacent slopes. Two couches and a lounge chair are comfortably grouped before the hearth. Custom pine credenzas house a TV and VCR, with several dozen taped movies; and AM/FM/cassette stereo. The tasteful western decor includes such accents as Native American artifacts, a saddle and a handcrafted log fireplace mantle.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen and dining area is floored in polished maple. Custom-crafted knotty pine cabinetry, accented with colorful designer tile countertops, gives the kitchen a warm, refined ambience. The contemporary appliances include a built-in refrigerator with ice maker, built-in conventional and microwave ovens; and a gas range. There is a country-style pine dining table, seating 8, with an antler chandelier overhead. The adjacent serving counter seats 6.
Rec Room
The lower level rec room also has a fireplace. Furnishings include a couch, loveseat, lounge chairs and a 27" TV; cards, poker chips and board games. Generous window area overlooks the front yard and a door provides direct outside access.
Deck and Hot Tub
Patio doors off the dining area open onto a 30 foot redwood deck. Its southern exposure is ideal for both sunbathing and viewing the slopes. Amenities include deck chairs; a hot tub that can accommodate 8 persons; and a gas BBQ.
Ski Room
The ski room (actually an alcove) is conveniently located adjacent to the garage entry door. Features include boot-proof flooring; a built-in cedar bench; and a locker/shelving system for indoor storage of ski gear.
Additional Amenities
Heated 2-car garage with electric doors and ski storage; additional outdoor paved parking; fax machine; laundry room, iron and ironing board; and children's sleds/snow saucers.
