Elk Trail House is a 2100 square foot, log home that reminds its guests that they are in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This three bedroom plus spacious loft, three bath home is furnished with southwestern, hand-peeled log furnishings, wildlife and native artifacts. If you?re lucky and really paying attention, you can observe the annual fall migration of elk through the trees to the north from the deck of this house.
Sleeping Arrangements
Sleeps 11-15. Upper level (loft) ? Queen, peeled-log bed (sleeps 2) and two twins (sleeps 2), with a private full bath. Main level ? Master bedroom has queen bed (sleeps 2) and adjacent full bath. Lower level ? Bedroom 2 has queen, peeled log bed (sleeps 2) and shares bath with bedroom 3 which has a captain bunk with queen bed on bottom and twin on top (sleeps 3). Family room has full, peeled-log futon (sleeps 2). There is also a full futon in the living area (sleeps 2), and a ? bath adjacent to the living area.
Family Room
On the lower level, the family room has a pool table, electronic dartboard, TV/VCR, and futon.
Hot Tub and Decks
The 6-person hot tub is located on the front deck which wraps around to a 500 square foot west facing deck with gas BBQ and deck furniture.
