The Best Breckenridge Après-Ski / Nightlife Spots
Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is one of the most popular restaurants in Breckenridge Summit County. Named one of the Top 10 Ski Town Restaurants by Snow Country magazine it won't take you long to see why. Great atmosphere combined with some of the best Mexican food you'll find anywhere. What you might not know is that Mi Casa is also one of the most hopping joints in Breckenridge once the sun goes down. You definitely want to check this place out. It’s right across the street from the Village in Breckenridge.
Another highlight of the Breckenridge Nightlife is the Gold Pan. This is the oldest continuously operated saloon west of the Mississippi River. In the olden days of the Wild West this was also one of the wildest bars around, with more than one miner being thrown the saloon doors. The bar definitely shows its age but it shows it well. A century old mahogany bar dominates the room, along with a single old pinball machine buried in the corner and two popular pool tables. If you're looking for the real old west, you'll find it here in the Gold Pan.
If you're looking for live music and lots of dancing, you'll probably want to try Sherpa and Yeti's on Main Street. A variety of great bands come through Sherpa and Yeti's, and you never know quite what to expect. Blues, jazz, funk and reggae are all common here.
A younger crowd is catered to at Salt Creek on East Lincoln. More live music can be found here, and there is a massive dance floor on the upper floor. Thursday’s $2.00 pitchers and 25 cent wings bring in plenty of people, both visitors and locals. There's always a hopping time to be had at the Salt Creek.
