Frisco lies at the heart of Summit County; it's an easy drive to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Silverthorne or Dillon from here. As a result, real estate is in demand by locals.

Frisco's Main Street is a combination of historic structures and modern conveniences. Restaurants and shops line the street, while Frisco Historic Park contains a dozen buildings from the late 1800s and early 1900s, ranging from a schoolhouse to the Frisco jail. During summer, Main Street comes alive with block-party festivals and live concerts.

Frisco Bay Marina offers full services, including slips, boat rentals and a boat launch. The Peninsula Recreation Area contains a multi-purpose field, a disc golf course, several campgrounds, picnic facilities and an extensive trails system. In the winter, it is home to the Frisco Nordic Center.
