Breckenridge is the only town in the world to own a 27-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course first opened in 1985, and in 2001, the town opened another nine holes designed by Nicklaus. The Breckenridge Golf Club has one of the best golf shops in the nation, according to GolfShop Operations, which placed it in the top 100 of America's best golf shops for eight years. The club also has a grass tee driving range, two practice putting and chipping greens and an area for practicing sand bunker shots. Golf instructors are available to help you rise to the top of your game. After playing a round, you can enjoy the full menu and bar at The Club 28 Restaurant. The restaurant hosts a barbecue every Thursday night. It also provides on-course cart service, with hot food and boxed lunches.
