Do you agree with SAR board members cutting the property fields on your web site?
Dear Realtors,
I am writing about the IDX/MLS email that Jeremiah sent to SAR Realtors. Some members in SAR want to remove data fields from advanced searches and listing details pages, which will undoubtedly affect your clients ability to get detailed information on all Summit County listings from your web sites.
The real reasons why they want to cut the fields and whose interests they are working for are unknown.
At a time when other Realtors and real estate companies in areas like Denver, Vail, Aspen, Snow Mass etc., as well as NAR on www.realtor.com, are using a wide variety of different search options and community features on the advanced searches and listing details info pages (which help the customers to select the properties they are searching for), our local board is going backwards in technology and doing just the opposite. This will reduce your ability to provide your clients with the service they have come to expect and rely on.
I have prepared the letter, voicing our concerns, for submission to SAR from local Luxury Realtors and would appreciate your support in this serious matter.
You can place your comments in this blog. Your opinion is highly appreciated. Thank you.
