The complex is made up of three plazas, each numbered, at 555, 645 and 655 S. Park Ave., providing one- to three-bedroom residences that overlook Maggie Pond, the ski area, snow-capped mountain peaks or Main Street. Plaza I was constructed in 1979, and developers finished Plaza III in 1983. The "Liftside"condo at 535 Park Avenue only offers studio units and was built in 1984.

Because of its location at the base of Peak 9, between Main Street and the Quicksilver Super 6 chairlift, Village at Breckenridge is a popular short-term rental that brings in a lot of income. Plus, it's a hotel-type resort, which is convenient for visitors because it has a private shuttle, bell service, an elevator and on-site management, and it's near a small medical center, the Village Childcare Center (open only in the winter) and Breckenridge Ski Area's ski school. As a bonus, the complex allows pets for owners. Underground heated parking in the Village at Breckenridge is free to guests and $15 a day for others.

Many people return to the Village at Breckenridge year after year due to its location. A variety of shops comprise the nearby pedestrian Village Plaza, which offers shops, music, market events and restaurants; the Maggie hosts a great après-ski atmosphere, The Park Avenue Pub is a popular nightlife spot and the Breck Burger Bar is the perfect place to eat lunch. When guests don't feel like walking or shuttling to Main Street or the plaza to eat, they can head to the restaurant and lounge inside the Village at Breckenridge.

Kids will love the Village at Breckenridge's indoor/outdoor pool and kids' arcade room. The complex has six hot tubs, so you won't be jammed into one big tub after skiing, and its saunas and steam room help you further relax into your vacation.

The surroundings include Main Street Station, Der Steiermark, Water House on Main Street, The Cedars, Park Avenue Lofts, The Chateau and Trails End.
