These rooms are spacious, well kept, clean, brilliantly furnished with authentic decorations and are always available. However, if a touch of luxury is more along what you had in mind, there are plenty of choices to be had. For a 4-star certified experience, try the Keystone Lodge. Breathtaking views of the countryside, outstanding service, impeccably designed interiors; the Keystone Lodge has it all. Of course all this extravagance will cost a premium sum. Starting at $150 this is not an inexpensive lodging arrangement, but it is one that you and your family or significant other will remember for a lifetime. Of course, Mid-range accommodations are advisable as well as in great supply. The Inn at Keystone is mid-range price wise, and has decent, clean rooms starting at $100 per night. Utilizing the purest Rocky Mountain water, a huge variety of beer has been created. Dark to light beers available as well as seasonal favorites, there is a delight for every persons taste. For truly fine dining, you need not look farther than the Alpenglow Stube. An old world the med restaurant, it received a four diamond rating from AAA’s guide. Cozy to say the least, located at over 11,000 feet, this will be a dinner to remember. Enjoy filet mignon while wearing complementary fuzzy slippers and listening to the crackle of the fireplace.
Ok, so you’ve got the hotel, the wife is satisfied with the dinner plans, now what? Try horseback riding. The Keystone stables offers many different trail choices, simply choose the one closest to your skill level and interests. Skiing is a popular choice, and almost every resort has a lift which will quickly take you to a fantastic skiing adventure. A summer twist on the skiing trip is also fun. Take your bike up the mountain on the lifts, and enjoy the fast paced ride down. This is an incredibly exciting way to spend an afternoon.
In conclusion, Keystone is the reasonably priced neighbor to Aspen. With all of the possibility for fun at a much lower price, it is much more family oriented vacation choice. You simply can’t go wrong here, Keystone, a gem of the mountains.
