Upcoming Breckenridge Events
(e) Breckenridge’s Independence Day Celebration – 4th of July in Breckenridge includes The Independence Day Parade, The Firecracker 10K Trail Run, a Garden Party at the Barney Ford House Museum, The Firecracker 50 bike race, free concerts at the Riverwalk Center, the 4th of July parade down Main Street and Fireworks at 9:30pm (weather permitting). The Budweiser Clydesdales will be in the Wellington Lot on Main Street from July 1-5. The Summit County Food Drive, supported by the Family & Intercultural Resource Center, Father Dyer Church, Dillon Community Church, and the Synagogue of the Summit, asks the community to help during this time of economic stress and family need. You can help by bringing canned and other non-perishable food goods to the Riverwalk Center between 2:00 and 5:00 during the 4th of July festivities. The goods will be distributed to food banks around the county.
