With an average of 300 inches of snow, bluebird days and legendary ski resorts, Summit County winters tend to be the focus for many visitors. However, an often overlooked facet of our high alpine environment are the incredible summers, in particular our award-winning golf courses. Daily highs in the 70s, close to zero humidity and nearly 100 holes of golf in the area make Summit County a golfer’s haven. Located in Breckenridge you’ll find the 27-hole Breckenridge Golf Club designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Just over Swan Mountain Pass you can choose between Keystone’s links-style Ranch Course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and the Hurdzan-Fry designed River Course. The north end of the county offers another 36 holes, including 18 at the Copper Creek course located within Copper Mountain and 18 at the Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks just north of Silverthorne.
